International clients please check your countrys import tax policies and rates as these are out of our control and nothing to do with us , and will not be paid by us
Once your order is complete you will be notified and full payment will be required before the order is released
Components picked ( reel seats , guides , thread colour etc ) are subject to availability from suppliers ,unexpectedly discontinued parts or delayed manufacturing parts for a planned build will be substituted with closest available if first choice is not available , this does not entitle a refund of deposit if exact specs can not be met due to lack of availability out of our control
DEADLINES , ( birthdays , anniversaries etc) we will do our best to meet these deadlines but in the event of a delay out of our control this does not entitle a refund and will be delivered as soon as possible even if its after a deadline .
A confirmation of your custom build will be sent to you upon receipt of your order, detailing the specification you have chosen. Please ensure you carefully check the confirmation and ensure it is correct as once an order has been placed and the build has started changes can no longer be made due to the bespoke nature of the work.
When placing an order you will be given an estimated build time. Occasionally issues outside of our control, such as component availability, may delay the build. If this happens you will be kept informed of progress. A discount will not be provided.
WARRANTIES , all blanks are tested prior to build , Rods do not just break on their own unless they are damaged or incorrectly used . Due to the nature of fishing rods , some very delicate, and the numerous ways they can be accidentally damaged, and i have no control or knowledge of how a rod is treated / stored or used by the end user it is not possible to offer any warranty for snapped rods. In the unfortunate event you do break your rod blank we will do our best to repair for you (or replace if it is a tip section we gan get a replacement for ) but this is NOT a free service . The same applies to components ( guides , reel seats etc )
Please note that whilst all matching rod sets are built to be as close a match as possible there will always be a very small difference due to these being hand built and not machine manufactured. Many of the materials used, such as cork, have slight variations which are totally natural and impossible to avoid. I won’t send out a rod, or rods, that I wouldn’t be happy to pay for and use myself.
Orders sent by insured courier at cost price + packing materials, this is in addition to the rod quote . Collection in person by prior arrangement .
