CUSTOM BFS PERCH LURE ROD

For this build my client wanted a high end performing ultralight bfs rod , for chasing perch with lures

The blank chosen was from fishingart , 5ft7” 0.5-7g 2 piece , with a nice fast action but not too stiff, perfect all round blank able to handle ultralight crankbaits and soft plastics with jigheads very well, very sensitive tip and retains sufficient wall thickness to give confidence in its strength. Smooth progressive bend to the butt section .

The components for the build included painted reel seat , red carbon fiber set in resin with 3d perch in the butt. Red vein cork arbors precision cut for a clean waterproof fit. Custom made gunmetal and rubberised cork butt cap

Fuji torzite guides in gunmetal colour wrapped with ghost / transparent and matching metallic red thread pattern

The result a very light but unique looking rod built unlike any factory rod - or any other custom build you will see
